Set in 1920s New Jersey, Radium Girls follows Grace, Irene, and Kathryn, young women who spend their days painting luminous watch dials at the U.S. Radium factory. Instructed to shape their brushes with their mouths, they unknowingly expose themselves to deadly radium while the factory's ambitious owner, Arthur Roeder, pushes for profit and ignores the growing danger. As their health declines, the women must confront the company and fight for justice.
