Sister Act

Sister Act is a feel-good musical comedy based on the 1992 film. Featuring original music by Tony and eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken (Newsies, Beauty and the Beast), the show follows disco diva Deloris Van Cartier, who’s forced into hiding in the most unlikely of places, a convent, after witnessing a crime. While clashing with the strict routines of convent life, Deloris unexpectedly finds her voice, both literally and figuratively, as she transforms a struggling choir into a joyful, powerhouse ensemble. This production was uniquely staged in the Hills Amphitheater, an open-air performance made possible by the creativity of our cast and crew during the challenges of COVID-19.
